Memorial bench and Childrens hospital snowflake
Donation protected
As we know the tragedy at Killamarsh took 4 beautiful lives too soon.
John Paul had a close circle of friends who he went through school with from being 5 years old, at secondary school they would call for each other on route, spend breaks and dinner together and the remainder of the evening, either in a group chat on their phones, or on Xbox games.
These friends, as part of their grieving process and just because they are bloomin good kids, want to raise money to remember their friends, Connies elder sister has also gone through school with the boys and has also asked to be involved.
The boys want to raise funds for two things, firstly a memorial bench in Outwood academy school where all 3 children attended and secondly a Snowflake on Sheffield Children's hospital at Christmas dedicated to them. The fundraising department at Sheffield Children's hospital have kindly agreed that, if they raise enough funds for a small snowflake, should there be availability, they will upgrade the size for a larger one free of charge. We have budgeted £900 for the bench and a small snowflake is £600.
The boys (Cameron, Owen, Cole, Brandon) are doing sponsored and charity events to raise funds, they are planning a football match, prizes, charity night and Owen and Cole have committed to Run/Walk/Jog 100 miles in October.
A young man who is friends with the boys named Harri Parker has also volunteered to do a sponsored walk around Rother Valley to help raise funds, Harri is a heart warrior and was born with just half a heart so this will be a challenge for him.
Please donate what you can, we will prioritise the snowflake first, then hopefully the bench, should we not hit our target for the bench the money will be given to school as contribution for one.
We have messaged both families about these memorials and have their support.
