As many of you know, my dad, Rex Schrock, passed away very unexpectedly on June 10th. This loss has left our family heartbroken. We have been working on arrangements and organizing all the paperwork, etc that has to be done. We have discovered that there is no life insurance. We did have these discussions before he died, and he thought he was covered. What he had is an AD&D policy that won't pay anything.

My dad brought the majority of the income into the household, and without it, his wife, Carol Schrock, is in danger of losing her house, car, and everything that her and Rex built together. Carol is on disability and can't go back to work, and she won't be getting much from Dad's income once everything is processed.

We do have a long-term solution, but it is going to take time, money, and support to get there. I am going to sell my house and move in with Carol, so we can share expenses. What we are asking for is monetary assistance to help pay for his memorial on July 5th and to help cover Carol's house payment and expenses for a few months.

We are so very grateful for all the support. It warms our hearts to know Rex was a part of all of your lives, too. He is so missed already. We will be selling his finished wood projects. Please reach out if you are interested in having a piece of his craftsman legacy.
