Memorial and Services for Frank Trejos and Family

This Gofundme is for my uncle Frank Trejos. Frank tragically passed away in the Lahaina fires and in his last moments he passed away protecting my parents dog from the flames. Frank has lived in Lahaina for 40+ years, and has known my parents for 35+ years. He has lived with us my entire life. He is our family. He was there when my brother and I were born, he has taken care of us our entire lives and helped raise us like we are his own, because to him and to us, we are. He has taken care of my mother while she has suffered through seizures, cancers, and multiple surgeries, he has taken care of and been there for my father through all the same. He is family, and he was taken away from us and we are devastated at his loss.

When it is safe to do so, we would like to have a memorial and services for him, and celebrate the brave, kind, caring and wonderful brother, friend, father-figure and family member that he was. All funds raised will go towards these expenses and any and all leftover donations will be going to his sister Irma who is fighting cancer to help with medical expenses and whatever she and her family would need.

A horrible tragedy has occurred, and we understand how difficult this time is for everyone and for all of Lahaina. Please donate only if you can, and please also consider donating to local fundraisers, local community efforts, and other families and locals that have been affected.

Just to keep everyone updated, the beneficiary is listed as Fernando Perez, because that is Irma's (Frank's sister) husband, and they have a joint account, where the funds will be going.
