Memorial for Wesley Oleson and Financial Help

*Thank you to those who have donated money, sent cards, prayed for us, fed us, hugged us, cried with us, and tried to be a light in this immense darkness.*

My mom unexpectedly passed away on Thursday the 28th for unknown reasons. She has battled her health for the past six years, even being in the ICU 3 or 4 times this year alone. But, she had seemed to be getting better, at least to a manageable place. She had lost over 40 pounds and was following a strict diet. She had been able to get out of bed. It finally seemed like we were on the downhill slide of a very long uphill battles. So, finding her was an absolute shock.

Unfortunately, since this was so unexpected, and my stepdad barely starting a new job, she did not have any life insurance, death benefits, or even a will set up. Which is why I am writing this to all of you. We know this is a very hard time for everyone financially, but this was our absolute last resort. Memorial costs are insane, and we need help while we take some time off of work to mourn this very painful loss before we relocate back to the Dallas area.

My mom was an exceptional nurse for almost 30 years. She had the best laugh, and honeslty the most crude sense of humor. She loved BIG. She was kind to everyone she met. A teacher in many ways at the hospital, as well as a comforter to the patients and families she crossed paths with. She was the greatest grandmother "daedae" to my son. She spoiled him rotten and it drove me crazy sometimes, the amount of toys and sweets she insisted he needed. She had a fire in her, and she stood up for herself and others. She had lived and survived so much in her 55 years of life. I honestly could go on forever. We will miss her deeply and will mourn her for what seems like the rest of our lives.
