My name is Maria Ferguson, Katheran Correa's future sister-in-law. I have humbly created this page for anyone that would like to contribute to the Correa family during this unimaginable time of grief and pain.

Aloha family, friends, and anyone else reading this. We share with great sadness and broken hearts that our beloved Pat Correa, a loving wife, mother, sister and friend, was called to heaven to be with God on Friday, March 25, 2022. She leaves behind her husband, Randy, and two children, Katheran and Cameran.

In early February 2022, Pat tested positive for COVID-19. At first, she showed mild symptoms and was even eager to return to work. However, her health took a turn, and she started experiencing shortness of breath and a cough. She went to a nearby clinic, where she was told that she desperately needed to be on oxygen and was rushed to our local hospital, where she was diagnosed with COVID-pneumonia. The longer she was in the hospital, the more oxygen and intensive care was required as days passed. As her health deteriorated, she bravely decided to go on a ventilator. After over a month of being in the hospital, Patti was put to rest.

Many of you have lovingly asked how you can help, so we have humbly created this account to help with medical and funeral expenses. Funding will go towards a celebration of life in Virginia - where she will be honored, and together we will share the many fun, and joyful memories all have had with her. Although she lived in Virginia for the last 22 years, her final resting place will be in her beloved Hawaii, a place she always considered home. We know times are tough for all, and if a donation can't be made, just sharing this could help us have a beautiful memorial for our beloved Patti.
