On Saturday, August 27, our friends Jameson and Alexandra lost Jameson’s dad, James Tomlin, in a tragic drowning accident. He was visiting Nicaragua to meet their newborn baby – also named James.
Jameson and Alexandra are grieving this traumatic loss while also dealing with everything involved with a death abroad and trying to bring James home to the US for burial.
It was a great joy for James to meet his namesake and only grandson. There are no words to describe the pain his family is now facing, although they have comfort knowing James is rejoicing with Jesus.
Adding to this tremendous loss, just before grandpa arrived, baby James was hospitalized for five days and is still recovering.
Please help ease the financial burden for Jameson and Alexandra by donating to cover costs related to their son's recent hospitalization and James’ passing. We’ve set this goal as a conservative estimate of expenses involved in repatriation, travel, memorial and burial, activities in the US to arrange the estate, counseling, and other unexpected costs as they navigate this process. Funds will go directly to the bereaved family.
Jameson and Alexandra live in Managua, Nicaragua and serve at Tesoros de Dios, a ministry for children with disabilities. They are caring, gifted and passionate individuals who are full of love and generosity for everyone they meet. Would you consider extending that same generosity and love toward them in this moment of need?
Thank you for your support and for helping care for this dear family!
