Funeral for Enrique "Kike" Velazquez
Dear friends, family, and Lynwood community,
It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the death of Enrique Velazquez, 35 years old. Lynwood Alumni C/o 2003 . For those of you that knew him, you knew that he was a fighter. Kike fought Covid-19 till the very end so much so, that none of us thought it was the end just yet.
They will tell you that you should prepare for death. Death is inevitable. No one is too good to beat it. Well Kike deserved to, if anyone. He brightened the lives of so many with his beautiful smile, laugh, sense of humor, and selfless means of carrying himself. He loved hugging people and he showed his deep affection towards you. You always felt love from him.
He was a great dancer and not such a great singer but he always loved to sing ranchera songs so loud, it was known he was present. He was fighting hard for his loved ones trying to beat this virus attacking so many loved ones. He leaves behind 4 beautiful children and a loving family. He was so rare. Heaven truly gained a loving angel.
As you can imagine, this family was not at all prepared for the financial burden that comes along with a proper funeral service and burial. Let alone 3 funerals now. That is why we are reaching out to you all in hopes that you’ll show your support.
Thank you so much for even considering to donate and for taking the time to read about our dear Kike
Blessings,
The Velazquez-Guerrero Family
