Memorial and end of life costs for Carole Mohler

In the first week of August, we were given the shocking news that my mom had terminal cancer. She was given 3-6 months to live. Mom passed peacefully while she slept on Friday, Sept 9, about five weeks after the initial diagnosis.

Mom was a wonderful person. She was generous and loving by all accounts and quickly developed friendships wherever she went. She will be missed terribly.

Mom was a proud Air Force spouse who supported Dad through multiple overseas tours of duty. She loved preparing holiday meals where we would host service members with no family in the country. Mom was an avid tennis player and a regular "Volksmarcher" while in Germany. She had a lifelong love of the beach and retired to Florida after Dad passed away in 2001. Over the last few years, she developed many friendships at the Niceville senior center.

I am raising funds to cover her memorial, her transport for burial at Arlington National Cemetery where Dad is buried, and her end-of-life expenses.

100% of the contributions (less GoFundMe fees) will go towards the costs mentioned above. Any remaining funds will go to mom’s favorite charity: St. Jude’s, for her love of children. Everyone in mom’s family will greatly appreciate any support you can provide.
