Meme’s road to recovery (Libby)

Just a few weeks ago (we call her Meme) got the news. The news no one wants to hear, the kind you pray you never receive. The dreadful C word that comes to steal and destroy.

Meme has lived with chronic back pain for the majority of her adult life. For years she's gone back and forth to the doctor willing to try anything that is recommended for treatment or relief and nothing has ever really helped. Shes's always been the kind of woman that doesn't let physical or mental health ever get in her way of living her life, shes so determined and strong willed with everything she does which is why we have all the faith in the world that she will overcome this too. Meme is the kind of person that will open her home up to anyone and give them all the love in the world, she'll give anyone the shirt off her back and has done without just to help others out in time of need. For anyone that has ever had the opportunity of meeting her and knowing her can vouch for this.

As many of you know, cancer treatments are not only physically and mentally exhausting but also can cause financial hardship and for anyone battling this terrible sickness, money should never be an added stress. She will be facing radiation treatments and possible chemotherapy along with medication after medication which will all be costly. We are trying to give back as much as we can to take some of the financial burden off of her so that her and her husband (Gene) be able to not only "get by" but be able to live comfortably. Anything donated is appreciated from the bottom of our hearts and we thank each and every one of you. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as this is just the beginning of her battle and there will be some extremely hard days to come for her. Help us fight this battle together with her. As she would say "you gotta have faith".

Lord Jesus Christ, we call upon your blessed name and we pray for your merciful heart to surround these with love, strength and courage and we ask your hands to touch them with the power of healing. May they be directed to the right treatment in your blessed name as we ask you Lord to represent the physicians, nurses, and medical staff and administer them in your spirits. May every cancerous cell be cast out and replaced with good ones. May every spot of this deadly cell be wiped out by your powerful hands. Amen
