Melyssa Alarcon -Thyroid Cancer Medical Expenses

Dear Family/Friends,

We’re setting up this GoFundMe for our sister Melyssa. She has been diagnosed with papillary thyroid carcinoma and we need your help! She is set to have surgery but it is prolonged to be sure it hasn’t spread to her lymph nodes. Insurance will not cover all expenses, and while the hospital is appealing they are having no luck. Most expenses have come out of pocket. Both she and her husband are working but , unfortunately, the medical expenses are quickly piling up, along with prior expenses for themselves and their three children. We are hoping to raise about $7500. This will not cover all costs but we would like to help them catch up on all expenses.
