Melvin Cook suffered a massive heart attack on 6/17/14. He survived the heart attack but remained in the hospital due to complications and severe infections. On 10/4/14 Melvin went home to be with the Lord. He fought a good fight but God had other plans. He was surrounded by his wife & family who never left his side.
Melvin was only 40 years old. He was a great man who always put others before himself, he was a loving husband and father. He leaves behind a loving wife Christy of 22 years and 2 young boys. Garret 15 and Gavin 6 who are devastated by this loss.
With the mounting doctor bills from being hospitalized for almost 4 months and burial bills, this family needs our help! Melvin was the sole provider and the family has been without an income for 4 months.
