On Decemeber 27th in the afternoon my loving father suffered cardiac arrest in the Walmart parking lot.
He helped us in so many ways, and he loved us so deeply. He was our solid foundation, always checking on us and bringing food and other random things and toys for the boys. He took my oldest, Stephan, to school and picked him up every single day. Giving him a dollar for every day he went to school. He would bring Asa some kind of candy every time he saw him because Asa would smile and just and get so excited for it. We were so close. He was such a good man. Growing up he taught me to love God before anything else in the world and it didn’t matter who or what you loved second. He told me to live a good life I should follow two rules, don’t lie and don’t steal. We are devastated. We were all he had.
Coming at such a surprise right after the holidays and me already dealing with financial insecurities. I don’t have any funds. He wanted to be buried, but that’s 8,000 to 14,000 dollars that I don’t have. I’ve had to decide we will have to cremate him and hold a service that way. Absolutely any help I could get from friends, family, strangers would be incredibly helpful for my dad’s service, and for me and my boys. Please help as you can. I’ve experienced a lot of grief, but this is one that hurts deeply because of our bond and our love.
