Melvin needs surgery!

Hi my name is Erin Walsh and I am fundraising for my cat Melvin. About a week ago he ran back home cut up, panting, and soaking wet. I thought maybe someone sprayed him with a hose to shoo him away, but as his adrenaline subsided we began to realize there were far worse injuries.

Melvin has not been able to use his right front leg at all. He cannot put any weight on it or move it around. He has a firm ball on his leg that the vet now believes is a shot wound. We have a theory that he was shot with a pellet gun. Due to this, he has nerve damage and needs surgery, which leaves a hefty bill.

I am about to be a graduate student at Oregon State for Environmental Sciences and I need help with funding his procedure. He means the world to me since he was my first foster kitten that I saved on my own (and he is now a foster fail!) Without Melvin, I wouldn’t have discovered my love for animals and fostered and saved so many kitten’s lives. Since I live on my own I have many bills I have to pay on my own, including school, so any bit helps for Melvin..even if you cannot donate please share :)
