Hi, I’m Gary Youngs and I am starting this Gofundme account to help my long time farm employee and friend Melvin Morse.

Melvin was in remission from Leukemia, then in October of 2022 it came back with a vengeance. He was diagnosed with Philadelphia Chromosome Positive Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. Melvin has gone through two rounds of chemo at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo NY. He needs to start a third round very soon, then in about a month undergo a bone marrow transplant. After the bone marrow transplant he is required to live within 45 minutes of the hospital for the next 100 days. This will require him to find temporary housing to rent. Currently he is driving to Buffalo two or three times a week for testing and blood work. All of this is a financial burden for him. I am hoping others will join with me in helping him out, so he can concentrate on getting well.
