Melvin Ray Lachica went missing in August of 2019 from his home in San Diego and his body was found January 20th 2020. Our brother lost his fight with PTSD and we are asking for donations to help with burial costs.  Melvin was a great friend and a United States Marine. Cpl Lachica served as a M1A1 Abrams Tank Crewman assigned to Alpha Company 4th Tank Battalion. Cpl Lachica served with with distinction in Operation Iraqi Freedom with two combat deployments and again with service in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. We are asking for help with donation in burial costs for our brother and friend, the family has hit some very difficult financial burdens and cannot cover this expense. The balance of the proceeds will be donated to a not for profit Veterans suicide prevention organization. Thank you and Semper Fidelis.
