On May 16th, 2025 Melvin suffered a traumatic workplace accident that left him with serious spinal cord and potential brain injuries. He is currently in the hospital awaiting spinal surgery, and the full extent of the injuries—especially regarding brain function and mobility—remains uncertain.

As Melvin begins what is expected to be a long and challenging recovery journey, the emotional toll has been overwhelming for his family. Now, they are facing a growing financial burden from everyday bills, hospital expenses, transportation, and living day to day life.
