Melton Electric Fund

My name is Sarah Melton and I am starting this for my dad, Eric Melton. As many may know my dad is the most selfless person and will do anything to help out someone in need. His birthday is in 10 days and I am making this in hopes to raise money for the current situation he is in and to surprise him for his birthday. This morning at 5 a.m. my dad walked outside to go fishing and quickly realized his work truck was stolen. He immediately called 9-1-1 and reported it stolen and a few minutes later my dad received a call from the sheriffs office saying a lady reported the truck left running on the side of the road. My dads number was on the side of the truck so they were able to contact him as soon as possible. When he went to pick up the truck all his tools were stolen and his bins were broken. As you may know he owns his own business called “Melton Electric” so all these tools were bought with his own money. The amount of tools stolen adds up to $5000 and now my dad can no longer work as of now because he can’t drive down the street without the bins flying open and he has no tools do to do any work. He is in need of help with buying all new tools to continue working to make income and support his family. It blows my mind how cruel people are and how brave they are to walk up to someone’s house with all three cars home and break into a car and drive it straight out of the driveway. It upsets me knowing these people are just going to sell the tools to make quick money when those tools were being used to make my dads income. If I could buy all new tools for my dad I would but I hope by making this I can raise some money and give it to him on his birthday. Thank you for reading, anything helps and please share!!
