Mel's Throat Cancer Treatment

As many of you know, Mel will soon be going through treatment for throat cancer. We are so happy to share the news that with a combination of radiation and chemotherapy the outlook is quite hopeful.

Many of you have asked us how you can help Mel during this time, and we thought a Go Fund Me page would be the easiest way for Mel's community to come together and give support.

Although it is anticipated that medicare will cover most of the direct medical expenses, Mel will have to relocate to Bellingham for treatment. Any funds we can gather for him will help ease the financial burden of lodging, travel and general expenses of being away from home.

Whether you are family, an old friend, or a neighbor, Mel is so grateful for your love and support.

Let us hope we will all be sharing a laugh or strumming a guitar with Mel very soon.
