Our dear friend Mel needs and deserves our help.

Five years ago, Mel was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. She was able to recover, but the removal of her thyroid has left her with ongoing health issues and medical expenses, on top of continuous complications from long COVID dysautonomia.

More recently, Mel suffered a heart attack and had a stent placed in her right coronary artery. Mel was also told her heart has a vasospasm. She requires intensive specialist care, cardiac rehabilitation, and a long break from work to heal.

All of this, combined with recently starting a new job which she will likely have to take unpaid leave from, is putting Mel through lot of financial, physical, emotional and mental stress.

I've started this fundraiser with the goal of raising money to help cover Mel's medical and living expenses.
