On December 10th, 2023, the universe lost a bit of its sparkle when our dear Mel decided to take her enthusiasm for life to the next realm. Mel, our lovable chaos creator, left us unexpectedly, leaving behind a carnival of memories and a rather substantial bar tab.

Mel was a wild soul, a lover of camping, canal boating, and anything that involved the perfect blend of adventure and questionable decision-making. Whether she was researching every campsite within a 100 mile radius for the perfect camping spot, or convincing us that her idea of a "quiet drink" never included the word "quiet," Mel's zest for life was as colourful as the rainbow-shaped hole she left in our hearts.

Now, as we prepare to send Mel off on her final adventure at the South Downs Natural Burial Site, we find ourselves in need of some earthly resources. Turns out, even in the afterlife, there's a cover charge.

In lieu of flowers (because Mel would prefer something with a bit more pizzazz), we're asking for your contributions to fund Mel's final hurrah. The South Downs Natural Burial Site may be sustainable, but funerals apparently aren't budget-friendly.

We get it—between the cost of living and the impending Christmas bills, your wallet is likely feeling as stretched as Mel's tales of her epic escapades. But fear not, any contribution, no matter how modest, will be appreciated more than how much Mel loved a good party.

Thank you for chipping in to ensure Mel's exit is as grand as her entrances always were. Let's give her the send-off she deserves—a memorable, slightly chaotic, and undoubtedly Mel-style celebration.
