Melodia Mariposa Founder, Irina Voloshina has lost her house

We have just had the terrible news that Irina Voloshina's was one of the many homes that was lost this week in the Eaton Fire.

Irina used her driveway on Mariposa Street to provide support to our community during Covid, putting on over 65 free concerts. In the last 3 years she has built the musical charity Melodia Mariposa to provide world class (mostly free) music for Altadena. Just before Christmas we celebrated our third Holiday Concert that was so happy and joyful. Today the Town and Country Club that we held the Holiday Concert in lies in ruins and so many local people are suffering.

Irina will do so much to help Altadena build back once she has got over her shock and grief, but right now we need to get her some help to fund initial accommodation needs and start saving for a new home. Please help if you can. Even if you can't donate, sharing her fundraiser will help.
