Deborah Melo Family Support

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Deborah Melo. This fundraiser has been created in support of Deborah's son, Carlos Melo as he navigates through the recent and sudden passing of his mom.

Deborah Melo was just 40 years old. A devoted AHS employee, Deborah was a kind and caring individual with a great personality and a huge heart. She told it like it is, which is what you loved about her. As a single mother, Deborah did all that she could to provide for her son Carlos.

On Wednesday, April 5th, Carlos' life changed drastically as he experienced the loss of his mother. At the age of 17, Carlos is preparing to graduate Grade 12 in June and has aspirations to complete the Millwork and Carpentry program at Nait.

We still cannot comprehend this unexpected tragedy and we are asking for donations to help support Carlos with the expenses that come along with losing a loved one and the hopes that he can attend college in the fall and follow his dreams.

On behalf of Carlos and his extended family, we greatly appreciate any support that can be offered to help get them through this tough time. We would also like to extend a warm thank you to all the AHS medical staff that assisted Deborah over the last few weeks. It is not easy when you lose one of your own.
