MELO & WE need your help :-(

During the holidays our beautiful doggie Melo was diagnosed with a brain tumor after suffering through two seizures. I know he’s not a human but to us he is. He’s been with us through thick & thin and we want to be there for him during his time of need. We know he is going to fight through this with all that he has and we are too. 

If you ever cross paths with Melo,  you know he is special. I'm not sure if it's the way he  wags his  tail, the way he looks at you when he wants something, or the way he  cuddles with you when you need it the most. He has the ability to make anyone fall in love with him and make anyone a dog lover --  a pit lover  at that. 

After his seizures we have spent over 6k in hospital visits and MRI’s trying to find out what was the cause. Now that we know, the doctors are saying we need 8k in order to start him on radiation for his tumor. 

I always wonder why there are sicknesses in the world and why certain people are chosen with them over others. To hear that our doggie, our best friend, our confidant, our sleeping & cuddling partner has cancer is devastating to us.  

After spending so much on finding out what as wrong with him, my family and I are at our whits end. However, the large cost is an unexpected burden to bear. While we are all filled with pride, we all know our reality. In order to make this happen we need to lean on our family and friends. We are asking for any help you are able to give in order for us to provide our beautiful dog with some more time on this earth. Your friendship and support are so appreciated at this very challenging time.
