2x cancer survivor left paralyzed

Many of you reading this already know my sister Melissa's story. If you don't, to avoid a LONG story... here is a breif one. Melissa's is a 2x cancer survivor who ended up with an extremely rare nuerological disorder called transverse myelitis. This disease left her paralyzed from the chest down.
The last 5 years have been a constant struggle for her. She's spent more time in the hospital than out and I can see and feel that she is just TIRED.
The latest series of events got pretty scary when docs expressed she would need emergency surgery to figure out a number of things going on with her bowels and intestines. She had to have a blood transfusion before surgery due to her white blood cells being so extremely high and red blood cells being so low (obviously indicating infection).
There's is definitely blockage of some point in her intestines. After surgery, we once again play the waiting game to figure out what this really is. It's an extremely scary time for her and our family. We've watched her fight for the last 10 years and I can see it in her face she is simply TIRED.
She will continue to have many of battles after this surgery. The support and prayers from all of you have kept her going this long and were once again asking for it again.
Financially she is struggling. She is also very limited when it comes to income. All she receives is disability which, lets be real.... covers nothing. Insurance is also a joke when it comes to covering the things she physically needs. Obviously with her health it is impossible for her to work.
Please consider helping my sister. Keep my sister in your prayers. We would really love to see one month with no hospital visits once she gets through this.... because I know her, she is a fighter.
