We are reaching out to you today to share the story of Melissa, a true warrior whose resilience in the face of adversity has inspired us all. Recently, Melissa was involved in a severe car accident that was not her fault. The impact was devastating, totaling her car and leaving her with a series of injuries that include contusions on her right hip, ankle, back of the left arm, front arm on the left, right hand, head, neck, and leg, a bruised spleen, and burns on both sides of her ribs.

Melissa is no stranger to challenges. Over the years, she has bravely fought and survived cancer, undergoing treatments for osteosarcoma in 2009, receiving an internal prosthetic, having a resection on her lung in 2012, and undergoing radiation on her lung in 2013. Each step of the way, Melissa has faced these trials with unwavering strength and an inspiring positive spirit.

Today, Melissa needs our help more than ever. The aftermath of the accident has not only burdened her with physical injuries but has also brought significant financial strain. With medical bills piling up from her ongoing cancer-related treatments and now the expenses associated with her recent accident, the road to recovery seems daunting.

To aid in her recovery and help ease the financial burden, we are aiming to raise $30,000. These funds will go towards covering her medical bills and purchasing a car, which is essential for Melissa to attend her medical appointments and continue her treatments.
