It is with heavy but optimistic hearts that we are reaching out to ask for support for our incredible mother, Melissa Allen. Melissa has always been a source of love, strength, and generosity to anyone lucky enough to know her.

Mom and Dad have spent their time together dedicated to being the very best parents and grandparents, the most genuine friends and family, and we all know neither have ever met a stranger. Chris and Melissa have always been there for others to offer kindness, love, and help whenever they could. Now, it's our turn to give back to them.

In October 2024, Melissa was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Just two weeks later, the diagnosis transformed to stage 4 when doctors discovered two spots on her brain. Since then, Melissa has faced both chemotherapy and radiation treatment with incredible strength, grace, and resilience. She has kept a positive attitude, remained a constant source of love and support for her family, and continues to fight with everything she has.

As Mom and Dad’s most recent update shared, Mom has been diagnosed with Leptomeningeal Disease, a rare and aggressive complication of cancer that affects the brain and spinal cord. The emotional and physical toll of these diagnoses is immense, and the financial burden of treatment away from home, travel, and supportive care will be overwhelming.

We are asking for your support to help ease this financial strain and ensure that Melissa and Chris can focus on what matters most: enjoying life and kicking cancer’s ass.
