Hi everyone! I’m a homeschooling mom in Seattle who just happens to be named Melissa. Instead of just watching the destruction of Hurricane Melissa, I decided to use my name for good.

I’m asking all Melissas (or in honor of the Melissa in your life) to donate $28 because Hurricane Melissa made land in Jamaica on October 28th. All funds will go to Samaritan’s Purse. This non-profit already has the infrastructure ready to immediately send relief to Jamaica.

Since 1970, Samaritan's Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God's love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The organization serves the Church worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
