Melissa's final wish, Camp Kesem for Hunter

Our beloved Melissa has gone home to the Lord. Even up to her final day on earth, she was planning for Hunter to ensure the best possible future for him. In lieu of flowers, Melissa's request is donations so that Hunter can attend summer camp in 2022 and 2023 at Camp Kesem. Camp Kesem is a camp specially for children with a parent with a cancer diagnosis. Camp Kesem focuses on creating fun experiences that help these children escape - even if for a short time - the challenges of coping with a parent’s death. In 2022 he will attend Camp Kesem in California and in 2023 in Wisconsin.  Your donations will cover the cost of travel for Hunter and Ren and all related expenses.

 

Melissa is the bravest person I know. She was not afraid; she was at complete peace, trusted in God's will, and was ready to go home and be with the Lord. She did everything she could to prepare Hunter for her passing and felt this camp would benefit him. On behalf of Melissa and her family, we thank you for your donations, love and prayers.
