Hello all!! My name is Jessie and I am one of Melissa's good friends so at this time when you see a friend in need you cant just sit back and watch.

As many of you know her daughter Rivyn was diagnosed with a brain tumor on her first day of school this August. From August to September they were in and out of the hospital doing testing and Rivyn had surgery to resect the tumor in September.  While on their many trips to the Cleveland Clinic their entire family caught covid. It hit Melissa the hardest as she spent almost 2 weeks in the ICU fighting for her life.  Melissa is a provider for her family and will be out of work for some time as she is back home but on still on oxygen.

On top of being out of work her family will have a significant amount of out of pocket medical expenses between Rivyn's brain tumor removal surgery,  Melissa's ICU stay, and Rivyn's ongoing tumor and epilepsy monitoring treatment for 3+ years.  Between these medical expenses and not being able to return back to work there will be a lot of costs that should not have to be such a worry at a time of healing and trying to focus on getting Melissa health back.
