Melissa’s battle with Cholangiocarcinoma

Story

As it sit here to write this, I realize that it’s a miracle that Melissa is still with us today! Melissa was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma over 2 years ago. Last October she was in total organ failure and on life support. They told us to make our final arrangements for her. Melissa and the Lord above had another plan. She fought through so hard! She made it out of the hospital and began walking again like it was nothing. (This was after months of being in the hospital) It was amazing to watch as I was at her bedside as much as I could be. We were all in shock. Even the doctors and nurses! She’s such a fighter and continues to fight to this day. She truly amazes me and I know she inspires and amazes others as well. Melissa Snow is a 39 year old mother of 2. William and Caleb are her world! She will push herself to do things for these boys like I have never seen a mother do before! I have heard some people say she’s like super-human. And I believe that to be true. She gets it from our mom! My mom is our rock! ❤️ Melissa wants to be able to make some memories with the boys. She needs your help now more than ever! We know it’s a hard time for all with COVID-19, but anything that you can do is appreciated. Even if it’s just sending her a heartfelt message full of love and hope. Melissa is so humble and proud and doesn’t like to ask for help. She hasn’t asked for help financially in 2 years, and that was when she received her stage 4 diagnosis. She won’t ask for help but with her being unable to work, being a mom of 2, the cost of living, medical treatments, hospital stays, genetic testing, medications, taking care of her 2 boys, etc she’s at a place where I have to step in to ask for help for her.  Melissa is a WARRIOR! The family asks for your thoughts and prayers at this time. With great odds against her, there is still hope! We want to thank you in advance for simply taking the time to hear our story. If you want to help in other ways, please consider a financial donation.  If anyone would like to mail her a letter or a card, please reach out to me on Facebook or call/text me and I can help with arranging that. Thanks in advance, Bonnie Hebert & Family
