To try and capture Melissa, her family and her story in a paragraph would be impossible.  At this point all of the above have touched more people near and far than even she is capable of imagining until now.  Because now she sees all.  She knows all and is smiling down on every single person that she touched while she was on this earth.  I've said this over the past few days quite a bit and I will say it again: She did such an incredible job in graciously and generously sharing her true self with anyone she encountered that I find comfort in knowing she has left a little piece of herself with anyone that knew her, had met her once or had simply followed her sweet, soul bearing story.  In talking with Dave today we were talking about how Melissa didn't have a certain kind of person or friend.   She truly loved every single person for who they are.  She found the good in everyone she knew in this world. She was the good in this world and for this, myself and many, countless, people are very lucky and thankful to have known and get to keep that piece of her.  

And to all of us lucky and thankful people...let's help her family recover a little bit or at least feel some relief from the battle they've fought over the last 2 years.  Her wonderful husband has been by her side every single step of the way without working, there are unending medical bills and very importantly 2 college educations to finish paying for.  Both of which Melissa started and kept up with until the very end.  These were very important to her and should be.  Any amount at all you would be generously willing to donate would be a step closer to easing the stress that a situation like this causes.  Thank you so much and BE THE GOOD.
