No mother ever expects that they will have to bury their child. With that being said the loss of Melissa on Saturday August 27th was not only heartbreaking but truly unexpected. All of us are trying to understand the reasons and what we are left with is only questions that will forever remain unanswered. Melissa would not want any of us to bare her burden, her heart and soul were soft and she tried to hide behind an exterior that was not true to her being causing her many a struggle. Her laughter, her silliness, the bubbly ways in which she played with and loved her niece Sophia were truly who she was. She touched so many more lives than anyone could ever imagine. This is not something that any of us were prepared for. Melissa is a daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Although Melissa did not want to be a burden to anyone donations to help with funeral expenses for the family would be appreciated.
