Hello my name is brianna. I am trying to raise money for my brother in laws mother who just recently passed away in a tragedy. Her name was Melissa swido, many of you may have read or heard what happened to her recently on the news just the other day. She was unfortunately one of the very many people who fought a very long battle of addiction. As you may or may not understand addiction it’s a very sad lifestyle to live and even harder for the family who also had to live through it with them. She was a wonderful mother and wife from a very young age(14), had a great husband(max yerkes) and 5 beautiful children that she took great wonderful care of until she was about 26 years old. Things fell apart for everyone. Life’s stopped in there tracks and things changed for the worst. They don’t come from money and her kids have found it in them to have drug free lives going for themselves. Melissa struggled with addiction for 20 long years And was never able to get the help she so desperately needed. Her lifestyle has left her children, grandchildren and people who loved her with a broken heart and unanswered questions. Her kids loved her no matter what and they have tried for 15+ years to get her the help she needed and the help they needed. She was very stubborn and it made things that much more difficult. We would like to have a service to be able to celebrate her and allow us to remember the good memories as a family one last time. Any little amount will be greatly appreciated.
