Melissa Scott is a single Mom, devoted partner, daughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin and friend.  Tragically, she and her long time partner Aaron Duke were killed in a motorcycle accident when another driver hit them.  Despite safety gear and helmets, they did not survive their injuries.  Melissa is self employed, in order to provide care for her 3 children.  She does not have life insurance.  We, her loving family, ask that you help us at this time.  Funds collected will first go toward her cremation, which were her wishes.  Additional funds will go toward the care of her 3 children.  In one moment, the income that has provided for them has been reduced by 50%.  They have also lost their Mom and step Dad.  They will be moving from their home to live with their Dad, who is a wonderful parent but who is now a full time single Dad dealing with their emotional needs as well as basic necessities.  While the kids will have tons of love and support from their Grandparents, Uncles, Aunts and cousins, the basic necessities are overwhelming, especially during this time.  Please do not wonder if your donation is "enough".  ANYTHING is greatly appreciated and will be put to good use.
