Melissa Santiago

With heavy hearts we write to say at only 48 years old Melissa Santiago  ( a mother of 3 daughters , a grandma to 4 grandson's , a wife and daughter) unfortunately has passed away on May 30th. She was a fighter and was very strong and stubborn. She fought many health battles in her life time and even made it to have her kidney transplant. She never gave up and always had faith she would be okay! Unfortunately this time she didn't have that outcome... She put up one hell of a fight over the last month and was persistent on pulling out of this. She was the most selfless person you could ever meet , even when she was sick she was taking care of her grand children... She leaves behind her beloved family ( husband , mother , 3 daughters and her 4 grandsons)  Her grandsons will grow to remember and always cherish the memories they gathered with her for only such a short time. At this time we are asking for all the help anyone can give towards funeral costs and to help these boys continue to grow as this was so sudden. We appreciate anything anyone can do or give not only for us but for my mom, to help continue raising these boys as my father is now adopting them alone. We want to do best by my mother as the last thing she told my dad was all she wanted was those boys well taken care of and we as a family are going to do our best to help with all we can.

We ask that everyone could kindly share this and help anyway possible , as you do so please share with this with a memory you had with her as we would love to see how many hearts she has touched in those years she spent here with everyone. It would also be good for her grandsons the hear how much she cared for people and how many people cared for her.
