We are fundraising on behalf of a dear teaching colleague of ours.

Melissa Plunkett has been a key part of the teaching community in the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide over 17 years. Mel has taught hundreds of students and made a massive impact on the lives of our young people. Mel is the type of educator where students accidentally call her ‘mum’ all the time due to her kindness, compassion and dedication to our young people. As well as catering to her school children, Mel is a dedicated single mother to two beautiful young children.

In the second half of 2024, Mel discovered a lump that very quickly escalated to stage 3 breast cancer. Due to multiple surgeries and chemotherapy and radiation treatments, Mel is unable to work.

We are asking that you support Mel’s fight!

Funds will be used to support everyday living expenses and medical bills as Mel currently has no supportive income.
