Melissa is a friend and fellow nurse who has recently been dealing with acute health issues requiring urgent surgery, a slow recovery, and time away from work.  Melissa is always there for everyone, and she needs all of us now. Any funds raised here will be used for living and medical expenses while she heals. She is a single mom with a daughter in college, and sons in grade school. She is simply one of the best friends and co-workers I've had the pleasure of knowing; she's family. If she's ever made you smile, laugh, or laugh until you cry, I would ask for your help.
