Melissa was taken from us suddenly on the night of Thursday, March 4, 2021 in a horrific accident. Born to Stacy Spencer and Adrian Marinez in Bakersfield, California on July 15, 1988. Melissa attended local schools and spent most of her adult life residing as a native resident of Bakersfield. Melissa loved her daughter, her family and friends, and will be greatly missed by many. Melissa was very kind and giving, a beautiful soul, she would have given anything, if she had it to give.

 

Melissa is survived by her baby girl, Lily-Eve Bedford, mother Stacy Spencer and partner Chris Sharp, Paternal Grandparents William and Lydia Marinez, sisters Trinity Wallace and Bre Marinez, Cousin/Sister Jasmine, husband Jason, and daughters Brooke and Briley Sloss, Sister Ashley Wood husband Anthony and children Abby and Alexander, Brother Zachery and Wife Katelyn Wallace, brother Darian Wallace, and partner Emily, friend and sister Rian Nelson and husband, Grammy Cheryl Hammons, and many Uncles, aunts, cousins and a few brothers.

 

She is preceded in death by her father Richard Adrian Marinez, Maternal Grandparents Lee and Darlene Spencer, Papa Lloyd Hammons, Aunt Cynthia Marinez, Uncle William Jr. Marinez, close family friend Michelle Wallace, and her ever so loved little fur-baby bean-bean.
