Melissa Mala Pagan Breast Cancer Warrior Fund

I am very sorry to share this heartbreaking news.

On September 10th, Melissa’s hard fought battle with breast cancer came to an end.

We take comfort in knowing she has reunited with her sister Landa in heaven, where she no longer knows suffering or pain. 

The funds we have raised will now go to help Melissa’s three sons, Elijah, Xavier, and Isaiah, during this unimaginable loss.

As of  September 30th, this Gofundme campaign will end and no longer be able to accept donations.

However, you can still donate to help her boys at Signature Bank, which is located at 7292 W Devon Chicago, IL 60641.

Trust me when I tell you how extremely grateful she was for each and every one of you. She was in complete awe of your kindness and generosity.

If we succeeded in anything, it is that Melissa didn’t feel like she was fighting this alone. 

She is truly loved, deeply missed, and will never be forgotten.

We are calling upon our friends, family, and community to donate to this particular campaign.

Melissa is a single full time working mother of three.  Her sons are her entire world.

She is remarkably selfless and kind- the type of person who will give you the shirt off her back if you need it.

On April 30, 2019, Melissa was diagnosed with Stage 3 Metastatic Triple Negative Breast Cancer.   Her condition has since progressed to Stage 4. 

Obviously no one deserves to go through something like this- fighting for your life while living with the fear of who will take care of your children if you don't make it.

Yet at the same time, we don't know anyone who could have handled it with as much strength and grace as Melissa.

She recently finished chemo and has several surgeries scheduled in the upcoming months. The bills are piling up and she still has a very long road to recovery ahead. 

Please consider giving what you can to help support Melissa and her family as they continue to fight this battle.

We also realize there are many people in need out there and tons of causes to choose from.  So we truly appreciate your support.
