Melissa Luye Family Medical Expenses and Travel

Dear Facebook Community,
I am writing to you today because I know so very many people love and respect one of the finest families in the world, the Brian Luyes (Brian, Melissa, Carson, Callie Jo), of Pascola, MO. Many people have asked how they can help during this time; what they can do; how best to pray. Here is a very real world way to take action, show love and support and encouragement, and put feet to those prayers for this family.
Melissa Luye has been diagnosed with a cavernous hemangioma in her brain. Family acted quickly a couple weeks ago when symptoms first manifested. Melissa was admitted to NEA (in Jonesboro), and then transferred to a rehabilitation facility and released.
Because her condition did not greatly improve and in fact showed significant regression, on 10/21/2019 she underwent brain surgery in Little Rock. This hemangioma is made especially acute by its location; the brain bleed is located within her brain stem.
We all know how astronomically expensive health care is and that it also involves transportation, meals, and all kinds of incidental costs. How easy it would be for each of us to click this “Go Fund Me” page and come together to help this family who has always been so very supportive of our community. We have proven time and again that we take care of our own; let’s do it again! Any donation amount is appreciated and received with grateful hearts.
