Melissa Krupp Memorial Scholarship Fund

Donation protected
We are raising money to create a scholarship to honor the memory of Melissa Krupp.   Melissa was an "Aspy" as she liked to call herself and had Asperger's Syndrome, which is a form of autism.   Melissa worked hard to overcome her challenges and was an excellent student who graduated Seminole Ridge High School and continued her education at Palm Beach State College and Florida Atlantic University where she earned her Bachelor's Degree.   She was passionate about journalism, communication and education.

Her life was cut short after a horrific accident.  Melissa was hit while crossing the street at a crosswalk.   Always a fighter, Melissa fought for her life for 4 days before her body finally gave out.

We hope you will help us keep her memory alive by donating to this scholarship fund.   We hope to honor Melissa by helping other autistic students pursue their dreams of a college education.

My name is Earle Wright and I was one of Melissa’s teachers at Seminole Ridge High.  I was fortunate to have Melissa in my Television Production program all 4 years and she became part of our “TV Family”.    After speaking with Melissa’s mother, I offered to set up this scholarship to somehow produce something positive from such a tragic event.  We agreed that Melissa would love that a scholarship in her name could benefit other autistic students.

Our goal is to create an annual scholarship that could be awarded to a deserving autistic student who aspires to go to college.
