Hi my name is Liz. I am fundraising for my friends Melissa and John. Early Easter morning, our happy, previously healthy, Melissa, experienced a previously undiagnosed, ruptured aneurysm, she lost consciousness, and was found mid seizure by her 15 year old. Melissa is a master carpenter who can build anything that you could imagine. (Furniture, decks buildings and houses)
John is a stay at home dad who drives school bus part time so he can be home for their youngest child.
Our fund raising efforts will hopefully help cover their family house expenses and lost income.
- Presently Melissa's condition is fluid and unpredictable. As she recovers from the aneurysm and today's brain surgery, stroke is an ongoing threat. They need less stress. John needs to be beside the love of his life as she works to recover and to be present for their family. Melissa is a giver, loves to laugh, a kind and joy filled spirit. She's a Mom of 4, her youngest is 9.
- This family NEEDS our help. They have no income while Melissa remains in hospital-her recovery will take weeks and months of hard work and rehabilitation.
