An active member of our community hardly describes Melissa Hughes.  She is widely known throughout her community of Fredericksburg, Texas for her brilliant smile, as well as, the sincere and generous encouragement that she shares with everyone who finds themselves in her path.  She shares her life with her loving husband Chuck and their young son Seth.  Chuck is a self-employed artisan and custom cabinet maker.
Over the past few weeks, Melissa has undergone a series of tests revealing that cancer cells have advanced throughout her body.
