Melissa Fries brain cancer treatment housing

Melissa’s tumor has spread to her brain stem and Melissa needs to stay in San Francisco for more treatment. If you have already donated we are so appreciative, but those funds have been exhausted. If you are able to help at all, she and the family would appreciate it.

Original post: As many of you know, my sister-in-law Melissa Fries recently had a brain tumor removed, but the tumor was aggressive, and she is in need of daily radiation and chemotherapy treatment in San Francisco starting this Friday January 13th. Her treatment is 3 hours from home in Merced so she requires temporary housing in San Francisco. The hospital offers temporary housing but it costs $150 per night. Please consider helping my sister-in-law, a single mother who can’t teach and earn an income right now, afford housing during her temporary treatment.
