My name is Melissa Mott, and I'm on a journey of healing from breast cancer. My family and I are Americans who have lived and served in Jerusalem Israel for the past 20 years and are currently serving as pastors to a local believing community in Jerusalem. I believe God is the Great Physician and my Healer, and He has provided the most excellent care for me at the best hospital in Jerusalem (the same hospital where both our children were born.) I was diagnosed at the end of September 2022 with Invasive Duct Carcinoma in my right breast. On January 4, 2023, I will have a unilateral mastectomy and reconstruction with one of the finest breast cancer surgeons in the Middle East. Post-surgery, we are also looking at at-least two years of follow-up treatments. Our medical insurance is not covering anything to do with breast cancer, so we are extremely grateful for any donation amount you are able to give towards our estimated expense of $75,000.
