Hi, my name is Anthony Bollhoefer. My sister Melissa Loy passed on 2-23-24 from a disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy. She was diagnosed at a very early age. By the time she reached 4th grade, she was already bound to a wheelchair. For years doctors told us she wouldn't make it past her mid-teens. Gracefully, we had 45 amazing years with her. She birthed an amazing daughter, Blaise who is now 23. Sadly with her condition as it was, over time she became very ill. She made the absolute most of what opportunities that she had, but it was cut short due to her illness. Unfortunately her only income was her disability, which was not a lot. She was unable to have any kind of life insurance or even good health insurance. Our family is very small and it's gonna be very difficult to cover the expenses that come with such a bad time. I'm asking for donations to help give my sister the best I can. She deserves the absolute best, but we will give her all that we can. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
