Melissa - Diagnosed with stage 4 AngioSarcoma

Hi, my name is Yesi and I’m fundraising for my friend Melissa Marroquín who was diagnosed with Stage 4 Angiosarcoma on October 1st 2022. Angiosarcoma is a rare cancer that develops in the lining of blood and lymph vessels and occurs in only about two people per million . Melissa is only 29 years old . My friend is the sweetest, kindest, most generous and compassionate human I’ve ever known. She’s a “homebody” who enjoys watching Disney movies and hanging out with her puppy, Charlie. Melissa was diagnosed while visiting a friend in North Carolina and has been unable to return home due to her fragile condition. She does not qualify for disability or any type of cash aid assistance in that state. Aside from dealing with her devastating diagnosis and poor prognosis, she has accumulated an abundant pile of hospital bills and is unable to pay for basic living expenses such as transportation, copays, or medications .
