Hello everyone, my name is Mollie and I am reaching out to ask for your help during this difficult time. Tallee’s “momma”, Melissa, or "Missie" to most, is currently on life support after experiencing a medical emergency. She is a loving mother to Tallee and we are asking for your prayers and support.

She suffered a seizure while eating, aspirated, and went into cardiac arrest. Medical professionals were able to restart her heart, but she has been on a ventilator since Sunday morning. Her liver and kidneys are now failing, and we are waiting to see if she has a chance of recovery without brain damage.

Missie recently moved back from Texas and had not started her new job yet, so she does not have active medical insurance. We are facing financial strain trying to cover her bills while she is in the hospital.

I will provide updates on her condition on this page, and we hope to know more on Wednesday. Your thoughts, prayers, and support are greatly appreciated during this difficult time. Thank you.

Our hearts are breaking as we share the news that Missie will be taken off of life support today. We appreciate your generosity and prayers.

A Celebration of Life for Melissa Brandt will be held on Wednesday, May 15th at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Lakeville.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 AM with a reception/luncheon to follow.
