Melissa Bellagamba Compassionate Care Fund

I am starting this goFund me on behalf of my Goddaughter  Melissa. Her mother Robyn and I have been friends for over 44 years, we were pregnant together and I cherished being Melissa's Godmother. The following statement is from her mother Robyn.
Melissa is a kind soul who has faced many adversities in her life. She was diagnosed with Schizophrenia when she was just 18 years old, and at 42 was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer to the bones. Within this prognosis she was given 2 years to live, and we have done what we can for the last two years. We financially set up every avenue for care, but are now surpassed the two years and are nearing the end. Within her end of life, Melissa is bedridden and requires 24 hour care. She has been in hospice home care for the last year, but because of Melissa’s age and mental illness, she doesn’t qualify for any other type of financial assistance. We want to provide Melissa with the most comfort, compassion and quality of life that we can, and is why we seek to keep her home surrounded by her loving friends and family. With any gifts given through this GoFundMe, it will be used towards her end of life care and funeral costs.
