Greetings, this is totally out of character for me to ask for help, but as the saying goes "pride goeth before the fall"... so here goes...

In 2006, I was diagnosed with sarcoidosis, an auto-immune disease (but it was already well established when found). It has spread to many organs in my body, including my brain, affecting my ability to regulate many bodily organs, and causing secondary diseases/conditions. Since then, I have been doing my best to lead a "normal" life and work full-time.

In May 2021, I lost my job due to my deteriorating health. I applied for disability at the recommendation of my doctors, but have been waiting over 2 years for a disability decision... without an income. I have raided my savings, sold vehicles and possessions, and am now forced to do this uncomfortable act of asking for financial help to pay my living expenses (mortgage, utilities, taxes...) to get me at least to the end of the year.

My last disability hearing was in August 2023, and it seemed to go in my favor. I am now awaiting the judge's decision on my case, as it could take months (they don't tell you how long...). Unfortunately, I'm coming up short this month, and have no prospects of an income until I am awarded disability.

So, I am "sucking it up buttercup", and pan-handling from my computer instead of the street corner. I sincerely thank anyone who can donate, no matter what the amount, as anything is needed/appreciated! I need a life-line to bridge the financial gap until the judge renders a positive decision on my disability case. Thank you for your time and consideration!!!
